Lone Survivor #3
The Marines had made the decision to let them go. One of the younger herders sprinted down the mountain and told the War Lord. So the Marines are being chased by this massive army and they are pinned down and surrounded. This is now my favorite part of the book where they are defending off the army and they are all working so well together as a team and they start to retreat back to a little cliff and 3 out of the 4 jump and the other is shot in the shoulder. As the men are rolling down the hill they are hitting rocks and trees. They stop rolling and they group up and one of the guys says "Well That sucked." Throwing a little humor in a bad situation.

Greetings you beautiful creature, This post really touched my heart. I have had many family members in the military. None of them have been shot though. I really liked how you threw the humor in a bad situation sentence. It really got the depression and sadness from this post off my shoulders. Thank you for posting such a necessary and amazingly crafted post. You sir are a genious. Keep it up. It has been a pleasure posting and reading this beautiful blog.
