The character development hasn't happened yet it is still just about the reporter and how he still wishes that he didn't quit the middle school football team. In the book the main character is fat because his mom owns a bakery and every time she gets a new recipe he eats it and so far all of those recipes has been god and he eat all of the dessert that his mom made. He has a depressing life with writing his only outlet to the cruel world he lives in.

Book Recommendation

I don't recommend the book Payback Time for the sports fan. This books only connection to the sports industry is the reporter he writes about sports even though he once played sports when he was younger. This book would have been cool to read if it was about a team that lost to this certin team in the season and play them in the championship and win but havent read it all and hope it turns out to be a better book than it is now.

The main character meet and interviewed Horst Diamond the football star. After the interview Horst talked to him asking if they where still friends he fell for the trap like a little puppy licking its chops for meat. Horst took advantage of him just so that he can get known in the paper and help get college scholarships. His picture taker she saw one of the new players throwing the ball really well and told the coach and when he threw in front of the coach he didn't try to throw it at all. This made Mitch embarrassed about calling him out. I think this guy has something to hide.

The book so far the book has had nothing to do with football except that the reporter has to cover sports and the coach is making him just talk about the star on the team instead about the other sports and the coach is his gym coach. There was a flash back in the book when the reporter was friends with the star of the team and he played football with him. He did go well when he played for the school and left the team and his friend stopped knocking on his door.

In my book Payback Time i think that it is about a high school football player that isn't allowed to play for some reason. When he gets in he shines and his coach lets him play. But it is all in the eye of a reporter. How does the main character Mitch True get a good story about the quarterback that cant play but is talented, fast, and strong? I think the this talented quarterback was involved with drugs or something that the school doesn't know about.
