Blog Reflection

I can analyze complex characters like Mitch True. Through this blog post that he is a more mellow of a person and doesn’t want a lot of attention drawn to him. He is also very confident about his work that he sends to Chet. He is so confident that he asks why Chet is taking out the part about Angel. What Mitch doesn’t know that Angel is a good guy and is trying to figure out this story. Mitch is very timid in person but is ferocious on the phone wanting to know the facts he wants to know.

My next goal for reading is to finish more than one book in the trimester. I fell that I can achieve this if I read out side of class which I didn’t do much of this trimester. I want to also read more in class and volunteer to read. I want to improve on organization and following while I am not reading to help me get a better understanding of what the meaning of the text. For writing I want to develop my characters better in my stories. Doing this will help the reader to understand where I am coming from. I also need to write more details in the text that I am writing. My goals for writhing is to get a great grade on my next writhing assignment.

Blog Post #7

Mitch has been trying to get to the bottom of the coach and angel. When he writes an article how angel is an adult and the coach is cheating he figures out that angel helped find people who committed a crime  and they where going to kill him, so he move from Philadelphia to Seattle. I am getting a weird felling like this book is going to get good soon.

So far in the book Mitch has been writing articles about the football games and has been sending them to Chef the Jet(the writer for the Seattle news paper). Every time he sends a article that he writes and a picture that Kimi takes they both get $50. He also gets a press pass to go onto the field and write but he normally sticks in the stands.moving really slow and i am getting tired of it if you are looking The book is for  a good sports book don't pick up Payback Time. I still don't know why it is called Payback Time there is no payback in the book.

Setting

The setting of the story is their high school but part of the story was somewhere else just for the volleyball tournament. Also it is at his house and the field. The setting helps at his house his mom had him eat the food she baked and at the field he has to watch and interview the players.

So far Mitch has a crush on Kimi the camera girl. When they go to the volleyball tournament he interviewed the coach she just said that the girls needed to play together and he was working on a diet and exercising but when Kimi hangs out with her friends and doesn't pay attention to him on the ride back he gets depressed and eats a lot.

The character development hasn't happened yet it is still just about the reporter and how he still wishes that he didn't quit the middle school football team. In the book the main character is fat because his mom owns a bakery and every time she gets a new recipe he eats it and so far all of those recipes has been god and he eat all of the dessert that his mom made. He has a depressing life with writing his only outlet to the cruel world he lives in.

Book Recommendation

I don't recommend the book Payback Time for the sports fan. This books only connection to the sports industry is the reporter he writes about sports even though he once played sports when he was younger. This book would have been cool to read if it was about a team that lost to this certin team in the season and play them in the championship and win but havent read it all and hope it turns out to be a better book than it is now.

Blog Post # 3

The main character meet and interviewed Horst Diamond the football star. After the interview Horst talked to him asking if they where still friends he fell for the trap like a little puppy licking its chops for meat. Horst took advantage of him just so that he can get known in the paper and help get college scholarships. His picture taker she saw one of the new players throwing the ball really well and told the coach and when he threw in front of the coach he didn't try to throw it at all. This made Mitch embarrassed about calling him out. I think this guy has something to hide.

Blog Post #2

The book so far the book has had nothing to do with football except that the reporter has to cover sports and the coach is making him just talk about the star on the team instead about the other sports and the coach is his gym coach. There was a flash back in the book when the reporter was friends with the star of the team and he played football with him. He did go well when he played for the school and left the team and his friend stopped knocking on his door.

In my book Payback Time i think that it is about a high school football player that isn't allowed to play for some reason. When he gets in he shines and his coach lets him play. But it is all in the eye of a reporter. How does the main character Mitch True get a good story about the quarterback that cant play but is talented, fast, and strong? I think the this talented quarterback was involved with drugs or something that the school doesn't know about.
